I've had hamstring pain since my knee replacement 2 months ago. Massage plus hamstring STRETCHING exercises have helped tremendously. At the rate I'm going, I should be pain free in another month. Start slow and easy with the stretches. The "no pain, no gain" theory will cause more damage. The stretching should feel GOOD! Good luck.
