My husband, now age 30, had his FIRST attack when he was 19. He is, and always has been, thin and very athletic. He still has severe attacks, which will soon require surgery. I hope your son has better luck. P.S. We have also been told it is a defect which affects predominately white males. Also, any type of nicotine will help produce an attack. GOOD LUCK!!!
